General Guidelines:

  • imagesLanguage of deliberations and written communications: American (US) English.
  • imagesOriginal scientific papers (individual and collaborative) are invited from Life members of AIOTA.
  • imagesA generalized presentation should preferably be avoided.
  • imagesConference Registration is mandatory for submission in all categories of presentations.
  • imagesOral Papers/Exhibits/Mini-Movies which do not confine to the standards will not be accepted.
  • imagesParticipants will be allowed to present only those research papers which are accepted and not any other paper at the last minute.
  • imagesTotal time allotted for each oral paper presentation is only 10 minutes and 6 minutes for e-Poster Presentation.
  • imagesPaper presentation/e-Poster in-absentia will not be allowed. However, in circumstances beyond control, the Chairperson of the Scientific Program Committee will use his discretion and may grant permission to the co-author, to present the paper in non-competitive category.
  • imagesScientific papers under the competitive category will be peer reviewed by two experts in the specified field prior to the conference.
  • imagesAbstracts may be submitted in both Competitive and Non-Competitive category.
  • imagesPresenter should contact scientific committee to display/upload their presentation for oral / e-Poster on the first day of the conference at 8.30 am.
  • imagesThe design of the scientific program shall be final and binding in respect to acceptance of abstracts/ full papers/e-Poster/Innovation technology/Mini Movies and also regarding allotment of time and duration of presentation.

Ona Desai Award for Best Scientific Paper in Neuroscience Research emphasizing Occupational Therapy in Neurological Rehabilitation
AIOTA’s Best Scientific Paper in Pediatrics Research emphasizing Occupational Therapy in Children
M. M. Sangoi Award for Best Scientific Paper on Ergonomics, Environment & Access Research paper emphasizing Occupational Therapy in Designing/Modifying/ reviewing/ remediating areas of work Environment, Work Method, Tool/Instrument Design and community access
Bharati Kirti Patel Youth Talent award for Best Scientific Paper A Original Scientific Paper of a Young Occupational Therapist graduated after 1st January 2020
N. Swaroop Award for Best Innovative Technology Original design, innovation, discovery of any concept, Tool /Equipment for Assessment or Intervention by Occupational Therapists alone or in collaboration
Nirmala Venkateswaran Award for Best Mini Movie of the OTICON’ 2025 (Both Member Delegates and Student Delegates may participate) The Mini movie should not be more than 4 minutes and should promote, create awareness of Vision of Occupational Therapy.
Best Delegate of OTICON 2025 Award by Goa Branch of AIOTA The delegate member should have attended all the sessions of OTICON 2025.
